Summary:
Creating part numbers, Bill of Material for Remanufacturing and Overhauling of engines and systems. Develop technical solutions and design concepts for reman and overhauling of engine and system. Manage technical changes, BOM releases in SAP and Windchill.
Responsibilities:
- Create overhaul, reuse and Reman part numbers to enable steering of remanufacturing and overhauling activities.
- Develop technical solutions and design concepts for remanufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of engine and system.
- Manage technical changes, new releases, and bill of materials in PLM and ERP systems (Windchill and SAP).
Position qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical engineering with 3-7 years of experience.
- Hands on experience on PLM systems Windchill and ERP systems, SAP.
- Proficient in 3D- CAD-systems, preferably Pro Engineer/CREO. Expertise and hands on experience in ISO GPS based Geometric Tolerancing.
- Should have strong understanding of Manufacturing processes like casting, machining, etc.
- Ability to work efficiently with cross functional teams and global teams.
Preferred requirements:
- Hands on experience on SAP and Windchill.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tool like CREO.
- Sound knowledge of Maintenance Repair & overhaul, reman processes and terminologies and overhauling specifications. Should have knowledge of Cost-effective repair / overhaul process for Engine components.
